Despite its size, the Kenari pendant luminaire has a filigree appearance thanks to its elaborate braiding technique and curved shape and ensures a warm play of light in your home. For this lamp, the natural material rattan is shaped by heating and reinforced by a sturdy metal frame.
Kenari is delivered without a cable, but you can buy it in your preferred length and color in any hardware store. A lightbulb is also not included in the scope of delivery.

Our lampshades are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.
Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without any chemical additives, have to be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable material that is available in abundance.

When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the companies from which we purchase our goods, only experienced and adult artisans work. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, hardly any greenhouse gas emissions are generated by the production process. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
