One application scenario for Ubud that we particularly like is in naturally furnished bedrooms as a ceiling light above the bed. Its unusual design makes it a central element that attracts attention as a centrepiece. With its natural colour tone, however, it naturally also fits into other rooms with any style of furnishing. The small hole at the top of the lampshade, through which the lamp cable can be pulled, is a practical feature.

Ubud is supplied without cable and bulbs, but these can be purchased at any DIY store to suit your taste.

Bamboo is an extremely fast-growing raw material that can be used for many purposes. The bamboo for our baskets is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the processing plant, so that there are no unnecessarily long transport routes.

This lamp is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we purchase our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
