These wall hooks made of rattan will become a practical helper in your household in no time. You can use Maku for jackets, keys or hats, for example. They are available in two sizes, either with four or five hooks.

For Maku, natural rattan is shaped into a beautiful round shape with the help of heat and then tied together with thinner rattan fibres. The classic design fits into almost any living environment and enhances it with its natural flair.

Main material: Rattan

Our coat racks are made from plant fibers. They therefore wonderfully smell and feel like nature.

Rattan palms tend to grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and drawing many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without any chemical additives, have to be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable material that is available in abundance.

When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories from which we purchase our goods, we only work with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Since all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
